Hello people,
Quick one.
Just wanna wish everyone a very Happy New Year! May this year be another great year for all! And hopefully atleast a better year than the previous one to some :))
No im not gonna rant about how the past year has been for me. Admittedly it has been bittersweet i would say. No matter what, I am still very very grateful and glad that Shakila, Syabrina and Myself are still tight as ever :) Even though we rarely meet up due to busy-ness and time constraint on our part, the meet-ups we've had has always been joyful and awesome as always. Love you girls so much, MUACKZ! haha. May we stay close this year and the upcoming years to come. Senang citer, Forever lah! hahaa xD
What else. Oh yeah! Singapore Idol : I was so very disappointed Sylvia Ratonel wasn't crowned the first Female Singapore Idol lor! Nevertheless, I guess Sezairi deserved it. The last song, he sang it brilliantly and it did suit him more than Sylvia. When the results were announced, every one of my family members laughed at me. Sedih right, because they were all Sezairi suppoters only i was rooting for Sylvia. And Asha and my baby. haha but they weren't watching the tv half the time. So much for supporting eh korg!
Oh and i just found this piece of news today : That Theodore from Alvin and the Chipmunks' voice is played by JESSE MCCARTNEY! ARGH no wonder he's so cute and my favourite chipmunk! LOL k part ni memang tak perlu, i know.
Sometime last week i think, Kila, Syab and myself finally met up after so so long. This part i never exaggerate ok. It was indeed after too long we didn't meet up. SO glad we did! Missed em so muuch. Pictures at multiply okey darlings :))

So last sunday, my family and i were invited to our neighbours' double marriage wedding thing.
Easier said, my ustazah punya anak-anak kawin. ok phm? Kalau tk paham tu, pahamkan je yek. haha
Usually i dont really favour going to jemputans, because it is tedious to get ready and stuff
Good thing though, the jemputan was held just under my block :)) Moreover, we went with Hanisah.
Initial plan was to meet up ramai-ramai with Syabrina but she couldnt come early enough.
And we couldnt wait for her cuz my dad had to hurry back to work after the jemputan :(

I actually loved the whole theme and ambience of the wedding!
Because it was held, oldies malay style. Like they blared old witty songs from P Ramlee
None of that annoying screeching pop songs, worst yet dangdut.
Then they had this 3 male singers who did this quirky synchronised dance while singing
SO CUTE! I took several videos of em and one of em waved into the camera. hahah kekek.
There were SO many people. Too many in fact.
We thought the many long tables could accommodate all the guests but we were wrong. haha
Umi has sooo many relatives, it was crazy.
And they had quite a number of mediacorp artistes who were in one way or another related to Umi.
One time, the DJ went "okay next up we have Hady Mirza and Sleeq to perform"
Hanisah and i were so sexcited giler. Then we found out the DJ was just joking. -_-
PFFT cheated our feelings you know! haiyerr
Oh i forgot to mention - The food was gerek seh! Okay even though i just had the mee...but the desserts were scrumtious! woo
They had these choclairs thingy. Loveeed that!

After that Hanisah, Sis, Ada and myself went to Jurong Point.

So tiring.
Atleast she got everything she wanted. Oh and Nisah got this really nice shawl thing. Lawa seh

Everyone in my family is now suffering from swollen eyes.
Every-freakin-one of us. betol tak bedek. haha
Saddening you know.
Aku lagi sedih, sebab ni dah nak masok 1 week plus and my eyes are still not fully recovered
I look like i've been crying for years -_-
On the other hand, mom's eyes look a whole lot better already.
Used to be so damn swollen and painful looking.
My baby lagi kesian! so pitiful to see her crying in pain almost everyday :(
Just this week alone we went to several different doctors and gotten several different eye-drops and eye-creams and pills. haha
The pills seems to be have the most effect on all of us though.
Sadly they're finished -_-
There's this tense sombre vibe going around my house right now.
And we all look like freakin cyclops! haha ni part mmg cool factor aku ade up sikit uh. (right -_-)
Yesterday my mother, myself and my littlest sis went to central despite our condition.
And i cant help but to stiffle a laugh, realizing we probably look like some cyclops mafia on the prowl
Soo funneh.
Ya way to look at the bright side of things eh, shahida.
Anyone have a cure or something that'll help to speed up the recovery of swollen eyes??
I mean besides visiting the doctor and get reliable medications, which we have already done...
The uncle at the kedai mamak told me to drink coconut drink or something. That'll work meh? hmm..
Ew i dont even like coconuts :\
On a very important note, I miss Kila and Syab!! and going out with you girlsss :(

Erghh. It has been like 5 days and still my swollen eyes arent cured!
In fact, it gets worse by the days.
Sleeping is not something i look forward to nowadays
Because whenever i try to sleep, my eyes would water excessively.
Waking up lagi worse. Hurts like hell just to open my eyes :(
Applying eyedrops dosent seem to work much also...haiyer!
Stress doh.

Menses cramp can really hurt like a bitch for me :(
Thankfully though, it only hurts on the first day of my period, sometimes the 2nd too. But usually only the first uh.
Like today.
When it happens, i WILL refrain from going outside. Even if i have some important meeting or whatever, i will cancel it.
Haha perangai right, i know.
Instead, i would grovel on my bed, complaining how painful my tummy is.
And inevitably, the toilet becomes my most frequent visited place outta the whole house.
I dont even know why. Its not like squatting on the bowl would lessen the pain right?
And its not even i need to shit.
What i do is just stone on the toilet bowl and sing some random song LOUDLY
Songs by the Jonas Brothers are my favourtite whenever i feel like shitting.
Cause they have the whole meneran-nak-berak kinda sounds. LOL
Oops too much info about what i do in the toilet, but tu korg nye psl uh. hurhur
Surprisingly, whenever im having menses cramp, i wont lie down and rest.
Its not that i dont want to, problem is i cant.
I'd lay in bed for a few secs just to get up and rush to the toilet and start my non-stop hits Jonas Brothers songs cover.
Walaoo.
And also i get really weirdly random during this oh-so-why-do-i-have-to-go-through-this-torturous-day.
I'd walk around and around the house in this weird walk that i made up
Which involves violent swaying of the hips and excess waddling like a duck walk.
Its horrendous i tell you.
EH TOLONG EH TAKMO IMAGINE. bagi kangg. haha
But it helps ok! Atleast for a while. Hips dont lie oittt
I'd make Shakira run for her money too. HAHA kiddin.
And just know, and right now as a matter of fact, the house was damn cold
Even with all the fans switched off in the house.
And my room was freezing even with me having my cardigan on.
And i couldnt tahan, so what did i do? i curled myself up into a ball in my sister's closet! HAHA
Mampos.
And i even managed to sleep for a while! hahah

Hello mello yello tello cello belo!
muahaha lame or what.
I logged in my livejournal and it states that the last time i updated was 4 weeks ago!
Which is a month ago. hurhurhur.
Been busy la. and lazy.
Anyways i am back to update, because i am bored.
And also because, after approximately 4 weeks of not meeting Kila and Syab,
I finally meet Kila! woohoo!
Kila only though. but still, wohoo!

So just now i finally met up with Kila after her school
She wanted to cut her fringe at central. After which we settled down at KFC where i treated her lunch
since i got my payyyy. yeaaahhhh~ haha nak pasal dah berzaman seh that pay.
Initial plan was to treat Kila AND Syab loh. but this Syab ah..dunno where she is already.
Miss her seh :'(
The KFC was damn empty! only for Kila and I. So romantic right. hahah
Dont get ideas ok.
Then the usual, yakking, gossiping, lauging, eating, storying and more words involving "ing"
Then we roamed around Central and then kedai mamak where i sent her to the bus stop :))
Glad we met darling! miss kau taw! hehe
Also, this Hanisah has been sleeping over at my place for so many weeks already haha!
So fuuun. And recently she bought this Uno Attack game machine thing and Twister mat
Which we tried em out and it was so the kecoh gilerr! hahah

OHOH anyways today, after SO long (not really la but still boleh diakatakan quite long jugak)
of not going to mengaji, i finally went tonight. hahah

I usually perceive myself as quite a pro reader. muahaha thick-skinned i know

I would waltz into the ngaji place, sit myself with those kids when its my turn i would read the best i could - amplifying my voice and read with confidence \m/ HAHA aku mmg kerek abit bila this part because im the oldest xP

i meant, comparing me with those kids, (yes its sad that ive to compare myself with kids because the teens does not exist anymore in my group) im more experienced laa. like helo theyre freakin kids kan.
Seriously they are. they are kids aged about 6? til 15 maybe.

Aku tak suka bila budak2 kecik ni satu-satu tak tahu nak baca Quran but step tahu.
hmph.
Ok its not nice to say that im aware, could be sinful even.
BUUTT its true! its very irritating to know that these kids dont even know how to read a single word from that holy book
And my ustazah have to keep reading to them line by line which they will then follow suit.
Um bila mau game u tell me?
I mean im okay if you read and make mistakes and ustazah corrects em. itu mmg aku no hal.
But when you seriously dont even know a single word, then why are u wasting ur time reading them? Go back to muqqadam or sth.
And in my honest opinion, these kids arent to blame... maybe they were given the freedom to slack thru Iqra' and Muqaddam til
when they reach Quran', they dunno what hit them. so they yaya papaya blur2 think they can infact read the book.
Which they cant. yet.
Haiiz, im not tryna condemn these kids okay, but i hate having to wait a loooong while until my turn.
Because no matter how early or late i enter, i would always get to read last.
Because i am so called pro already and that ustazah dont even need to watch over me while i recite the book sometimes.
So i have been given the liberty to wait until the end. haha
BUT not tonight my friend. not tonight.
I have gone rusty :( When i was reading, i could hear myself tremble and tripping over the words.
In my head i was thinking "what is happening to me masyallah" hahah
But thank goodness by page 3 i sort've calmed myself down and everything went quite smoothly.
By page 4, i was already the only person then i got nervous again and mess up the last lines. haha walaoo
Gone case.
Okay this rant is not meant to put down whomever or whatever okay.
It is just my two-cents worth. :)
And also, might be the pissy-mood talking. heh

Okay hello semua.
Actually im very sexcited to post today.
Mainly because i havent been updating for a week already kan
But that one is standardd la hor, I always neglect my LJ anyways unless i have the need to post about something
Like i do for today!

Ok! to start off, i'll talk about my recent 19th birthday celebration!
It was one of the bestest days i could ever ask for, for this year xD
Mainly because, i get to meet all my loved ones on the big day itself - 5th October!
I am not ecstatic about being 19 to be honest. Because it is the final teenhood! GAH
After this i'd be 20?? the big 2-0. urgh. I'd like the "1" to stay please.
Oh before that - @ like 12 am i started receiving text messages wishing me a very happy birthday :)
First it was Syab, followed by Kila then My mom, then Asha then Ashraf
And some people were wishing me via MSN like Nura for example.
My youngest sibling kept wishing me before 12 am. haha! so cute lah
I love you my baby!
So does my other siblings. Dad wished me while i was about to go out :)
Hanisah actually called @ around 12 30? am and i thought she wanted to talk to sis
But instead she sang "happy birthday" song to me HAHA it was so aww lah and i was laughing already
Sanggup sey and to think she was dead tired and just got home. thank you!

Anyways, Shakila and Syabrina came over @ my place to so call raya.
So they came and surprised me with this huge flower pillow! for my birthday present!
That part i wasn't expecting at all and i was so terharu sey. Aww thanks korg! I've been sleeping with it ever since tau!

And yeah, they raya-ed here as well. 2 in 1 lah konon. haha
Ate kueh rayas, ate mom's cooking. Basically we chilled @ my place and waited for my sister to get ready as we were gonna head out
for my another birthday celebration with Hanisah.
I wished Syab could've joined with us, but she had to go off early to teach her bro or something i think
Because he had exams. soo yeah. Our plan was to chill chill apple together. but nevermind, it was great enough you came Syab!

After Syab had to go off, My sister, Kila and myself headed to Outram where we were to meet Hanisah.
She already booked tickets to watch Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs - 3D @ Vivo
We catched the 6 40 pm screening. And it was soo the gerek lah sey. haha
Love the movie and we were abit jakon with the 3D glasses!
Before the movie, we claimed our tickets first
And headed outside Vivo for while. I didnt know why actually, blur2 ah. Thought we were just gonna sit before movie starts.
Then...jengjengjeng, Nisah surprised me with a small cupcake brownie with a candle!
Hahah again, this part tidak ku sangka lagi. And it was quite kekek cuz we were trying to light the candle but kept failing
Cuz the breeze was too strong xP
In the end we managed to. And they sang Happy Birthday again to me.
Aww malu i.
Nisah also bought the rest of us choclairs. So we muched awhile first

Okey ini part, i'll post the first day of Raya pictures ok?
Basically, we headed over to our aunt's place where everyone of our pakciks and makcik and Nenek herself was there.
We didnt do much but watch tv, and eat, and chilled in our cousin's room.
There wasn't any kids who were around our age AT ALL.
Except for cousin Dilah. So yeahh quite zzzz la

The thing that contents me most is whenever i get to meet my darlings!
We met like 3 days in a row last week if im not wrong.
First was, we had lunch @ Bugis then we roamed around before Syab had to go off to school.
And then like 2 days after? or one, Kila and myself went to Bugis, AGAIN haha
Cause i wanted to buy some clothes. out of nowhere.
And inevitably, Kila also got clothes for herself! haha so much for not splurging kn xP
Then the next was when Kila just got back from raya-ing with her poly mates
And we decided to have lunch @ KFC haha
And we shamelessly took pics there, like usual kn xP
And we also headed to the library where i borrowed three books. so happy taw :D
